What We Do

The Emergency Assistance Center (TEAC) is first and foremost a food pantry, providing a monthly 7-day supply of food. Our primary goal is to feed the hungry.

We always serve those in need of emergency help, as well as those in our service area who need continued help to put food on the table.

How Many Served

In September 2024, we served 651 people in 256 households including 197 seniors and 172 children.  There was 18 new families (57 people) who came to TEAC for help for the first time.

WITH YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT, TEAC provided enough food for 13,671 meals!

We help our neighbors who qualify for food assistance and reside the following communities:

44067 - Northfield Center, Northfield Village,
Sagamore Hills
44056 - City of Macedonia
44087 - City of Twinsburg, Twinsburg Township
44202 - Reminderville
44286 - City of Richfield, Richfield Township
44264 - Village of Peninsula
44236 - City of Hudson, Boston Heights

TEAC is a network partner of the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank. Our Center is an Accredited Charity of the Better Business Bureau by having met all 20 of their Standards for Charity Accountability. We have also been awarded the Candid GuideStar USA Platinum Seal of Transparency.

We are honored to be entirely community-funded and are humbled by the continued partnership of our community to help feed those families who need assistance putting food on their tables.

At every service visit, our clients receive:
