Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of The Emergency Assistance Center! We could not accomplish what we do without the help of our incredibly devoted volunteer staff.

If you would like to volunteer or schedule a volunteer opportunity for your business or group, please contact us at 330-467-7945.

To volunteer at our Center and events, you must be 16 years of age and complete a Volunteer Application and Civil Rights Form. We currently have a waitlist for volunteering, however you can download the forms and bring them to the Center or fill them out when you are here.

If you have children under 16 who want to help those in need, we can share some of the fun and creative ways that younger children have collected items for TEAC. Here are some examples:
  • Captain Underpants superhero new sock & underwear drive
  • Ask birthday guests to donate non-perishable food in lieu of gifts
  • Have a lemonade stand and donate the proceeds
  • Neighborhood red wagon non-perishable food collection

Generous friends of TEAC donated funds for the purchase of a beautiful used van. A Nordonia Hills student suggested the name "Gus the Food Bus" which we loved. You can download a coloring page with Gus by clicking on the image below.

THANK YOU!

We would not be able to help your neighbors in need without your generous support!
