Please be aware that our organization NEVER solicits donations by telephone. We send appeals by US MAIL four times per year. If you or a loved one receives a phone call from someone that says they are with The Emergency Assistance Center or some variation of that name, IT IS NOT US. They typically ask you to tape a check to your door and they will pick it up. Please report the incident to your local police department.
